Tales of Sleepless Nights

Tales of Sleepless Nights (April 26 - May 5, 2019) was a performative tour presenting monologues in different locations in Downtown Austin, guided by our group’s actors.  The tour was followed by a community conversation about the criminalization of homelessness and alternative policies to decriminalize it. The criminalization of homelessness negatively impacts one of Austin's most vulnerable communities, and the crisis continues to grow. This project promoted the voices and perspectives of Austinites most impacted by housing instability.
